Total Equine Veterinary Associates (TEVA) certifies as a Loudoun Green Business for 2nd Year
Total Equine is committed to the reduction of our overall carbon footprint and to be environmentally conscientious. For the second year in a row, TEVA entered and certified with the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce Green Business Challenge. Below is a quote taken from the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce website:
"The Green Business Challenge is a partnership between the Loudoun County Government and the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce to encourage Loudoun businesses to adopt environmentally sound business practices. Last year, the inaugural Challenge attracted more than three dozen area businesses, which were ranked for their environmental practices through a Green Business Challenge Scorecard."
This year, Dr. Jay Joyce is pleased to announce that TEVA attained 'Silver Level' certification. "We have embraced a nearly 100% digital veterinary practice. We utilize digital medical records, digital radiographs, digital Coggins, online or electronic billing, and electronic lab reporting. TEVA will continue to be innovative in the ways it can support the environment and in supporting other local businesses in their quest to be environmentally friendly. Currently, TEVA serves as the only veterinary role model for other local practices."
